horn not workin

k so the horn is not working on my truck and i need it so i can pass out of province inspection, so where is the horn located?? pics would be great, i looked in my haynes manual and it didnt give me **** i checked the relay alreadt and it was fine, looked for a fuse but didnt find one, so the only places could be the wiring the horn buttons or the horns themselves... would really appreciate pics of the horn location though thx

1. Do you have cruse control?
2. Does it work?
3. How 'bout a flashing airbag light?
4. How did you check the relay?

The horns are behind and below the drivers side headlight. Check for power there when the relay is actuated by the horn buttons. The horns are grounded through their mount so make sure corrosion isn't a factor.

The horns are either behind the L headlight or behind the bumper on the bottom of the core support. Does the relay click when you press the button?

im not sure if i have cruise or a flashing airbag light, i just got the truck from my uncle and hes replacing the front trans seal in it. no the relay does not click, i thought it may be bad so i put a brand new one in and same thing, corrosion may be an issue, the truck is from ontario and they use alot of salt on their roads during the winter. i actually havnt even driven the truck yet..

Click the tan CV in my signature and look in the Steering Column album. You may end up replacing the clock spring, but check the airbag light first.

The one in my '93 didn't work when I got it, there it's behind the right headlight, and a wire linking the two horns had rotted out, it fell apart when I touched it. New wire, problem solved.
