Exclamation Pre formed rubber floor

I just bought a whole cab preformed rubber mat.
Got seat and everything out and put it in and HOW do you get it to lay down!!! and form to the curves. In the floor pan area there is a big clump of rubber and no where to go with it. I realize i have to trim but this isn't working. Bought it from LMC.
HELP

Any time I replace carpet or rubber floor covering in a vehicle be it car or truck. I put it out in the sun for as long as possible to let it heat up which softens it and makes it a lot easier to put down. The only thing is if you do this isn the winter time or somewhere it's cool then the next best thing is is to crank the vehicle up with the heater on high for about an hour and then take a heat gun and heat it up and no not a hairdryer but a real honest to goodness heat gun. Wally world sells a B&D for about $20 that gets up to 900degrees. It's over in the paint section near caulks, ask somebody but they aren't in automotives.

Sounds like you got the wrong floor cover. The shape of the hump changed thru the years, so I bet they sent you a pre-'92 cover. Check with them before cutting it.
