I have an 88 f 250 with auto (not overdrive so it susks gas like crazy) How feasiable is it to convert it to a stick? Whitch one would work? Is it worth it? Thanks Harry

Feasability depends on how much of the work YOU can do, how much you have to pay for the donor trans, and how much work area you have available. Without knowing which engine you have, I can't tell you which trans's will work, but go to the Trans forum & read adrianspeeder's sticky thread at the top.

Howdy and welcome to the basement!

If overdrive is important to you and you want heavy duty, the big ZF is what fits the bill.

However, there are 8+ different models and can't narrow down what you need till we know if your truck is 4x4, and what motor you have.
