Seat conversion's......

So i finally own a F150. I have wanted one for a very, very long time, and in fact coveted one in particular. My Fathers. So My father goes out and buys a new truck, and i inherite his well taken care of '95 F150 XLT (5-speed manual, 300 CI I6) and the [I]ONLY[I] complaint I have is that it has a bench seat.

Every turn stuff is sliding every where, and it's not that confortable. I would like to switch to bucket seats, and with something with a center console, preferably with cup holders.

So what I need is what I have to do to convert it (installation manual or something), what years would fit nicely.

Thanks for any help.

'90-96 captain's chairs will bolt right in, and there are a few choices for the console/cuptosser. There's a center seat option with a fold-down backrest with a console & cuptossers; there's a floor console with cuptossers; and there are any number of aftermarket floor consoles. This is the stock floor console for '92-96.

But if you get just the floor brackets for those chairs, you can mount almost ANY chair you like onto them.

I'd be really thankful if you could help me in where to get link for info on those seats, and where to look for them.

I need to get the mounts and find some seats that I like. Thinner the better because I like lots of room and the bench seat is way too thick, takes up too much room.

Look in your local junkyards. Search the For Sale forum on FSB. If you can't find any, post in the Parts Wanted forum.
