Please help 1992 f150 5.0

I have a problem. Sometimes the truck will start sometimes it won't. Other times it will run and then just stall out. I am getting power to my coil but when it won't run I get nothing out of my coil. Replaced the coil and I still have the same problem. Anybody know anything at all about this? Please help me if you can. Thanks

If your new coil is doing the same thing...
No output when the problem comes about...

Then I would check the ignition wiring.
Look at the ignition relay first and check connections and such from there.

That is what I would do, but I am sure there are other things to look at.
Someone else might chime in.

Edit:
The ignition module might be the culprit as well.
The module usually cuts out with heat, but not always.

You should check the ignition pickup in the distributor, I have had similar problems in the past in a 1990 Bronco 5.0 and a 1978 F250 400M

I'm having a similar intermittent problem that's been on going for 2 years. I'm at the point now i'm thinking it's a open circuit in the wiring somewhere causing the problem. It just needs to crap out long enough for me to find it.

I joined this forum to post about my problem but i'm going to wait until this weekend to do so. I'm going to really dig into the truck. I'll keep you posted regardless.
