Question Seat Question

I have a 1996 f150 regular cab that requires a new seat. I have an opportunity to get a 40/20/40 seat out of a 1996 f150 extended cab. I am not sure if the 40/20/40 will bolt into my truck as my original seat is a bench type.I am hoping that someone may have tryed the same swap. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, any '90-96 F-series or Bronco seats will bolt right in, & so will many others.

What else will bolt right in? I've been looking though lots of junkyards, but I can't find a F150 or Bronco with decent buckets seats. I've found a few windstars. Will these bolt in? What's else can I use? Without too much fab work.

I have a 96 extended cab with a 50/50 split bench.

Most any seat should work. there is a lot of room in the cab. Most "fab" work will be just using the origional seat brackets/tracks from your truck.
I put seats from a Grand Prix in a '87 Mustang.........

Look at the bottoms of your stock seats to see how they mount. Look at the bottoms of the JY seats to see how THEY mount. Decide if that's too much fab work for you.
