I have a 93 F-150 2wd V8 and the clutch pedal pushes hard. Works ok, just harder to push than normal.
Much harder than my 95 and 94 models that are the same except that they have the inline 6 engine.
A few weeks ago the plastic end broke off the clutch actuating rod. I'm wondering if something is wrong that would make this clutch extra hard to push in?

140,000 miles, new to me, have no way to find out the history on it.

 

some one might have put one of those high performance clutches in there. some of those are very hard to push becalus the have allot more spring pressure on them.
