91 gas tanks capacity

I know dumb question, but does anyone know what the tank capacities are for a 91 f-150 lariat with dual tanks an a 5.0? I know i could run the tanks empty then fill them up, but that is expensive now in the world of $3+ a gallon gas. I have looked around (googled it, searched here) did not find anything specific. Taking a long trip and need to figure out my range, both tank fuel gauges are busted so i have to figure mileage into gallons and use my trip meter to tell when i am ready to run out. TIA.

It doesn't cost any extra to run them dry - you'd be burning that gas eventually, and buying more to replace it no matter what.

Tank capacity varies by engine, options, wheelbase, & bed style, so running them dry one at a time is the only way to find out for sure.

If a 91 is the same as a 96:

117 WB: Front: 16.3, Rear: 18.2
133 WB: Front: 19.0, Rear: 18.2
139 WB: Front: 16.5, Rear: 18.2
155 WB: Front: 19.0, Rear: 18.2

Thanks Guy's

Thanks for the response's. I have the standard cab long bed model, so I suppose I have the 19 gallon front tank. Thanks for the info SR. Considering a 37 gallon capacity @ 16 mpg comes out to almost 600miles till dry. Thanks guys just what i needed.
