Bogging while cruising

My 94 F150 with 300-6 has a little issue. Sometimes while going through town at 25-30 mph while staying steedy on the throttle the truck will kinda bog/lose a little power, but then when I step on the gas it bogs for 1-2 seconds and then comes out of it and accelerates just fine. It seems the warmer the weather gets the more this seems to happen. Do any of you have ideas on what could be causing this?

I am thinking maybe the fuel filter, but not sure.

Thanks for the help!

The fuel filter would be a good first step and probably the most likely culprit.

Failing that, check your sensors(MAF, TPS, ect) and clean if necessary. If those are dirty or malfunctioning it can cause bogging or poor performance.

Is your check engine light on?

Thanks for the reply! The check engine light popped once, and after doing the paper clip code reading, it was for the temp sensor and I replaced that. But nothing since. I will get a fuel filter in the next couple of weeks and try that, at worst I guess that I am out 7 bucks.
