Like the title states, my friend is looking for that piece of aluminum with a piece of black plastic on it. He is wanting a "new" one.. He tried the local dealer, but they didn't have it.. He has also tried ebay.. Any ideas of locating that piece?

Have you checked LMC? If I understand correctly what you are looking for, it appears they have it. But I'm not sure it's not something made in Pago-Pago or Outer East Mongolia which might or might not fit, & might or might not look like crap. I've had spotty luck with LMC parts.
