yea those are gettin kinda rare. i havent seen an 87-91 body stlye one in a while. you see more of the 80-86 body more, a former manager i was workin with had an 80-86 he was restoring, it was his dads. i bet i have 150 hours in that thing, and last time i talked to him it was in a garage collecting dust in the same condition i left it, jambed and primed, but it never got painted, kinda sad.

 

Are you sure it's real? Could be some freak like me who likes to modify stuff. I thought I read a sales brochure that said they weren't offered.

 

1987 was the last year for the Stepside.
No Stepside or Flareside from 1988 till mid-year 1992.

 

Ya'll can see it's the pre '87 bed, but has the '87-'96 fender lip on the fender flare. My guess is just ford knocked a few out early '87 to use up the stock.

god i love the 80-86 Step Sides

 

i saw an 87 step side today! it was black and looked pretty nice.
