Going X-country

I'm going to be headed from Seattle area to Texas-ish in the next few months. I'm on the road about 95% of the time, so it's pretty much sat. My wife starts it about every third day, and drives to the store about once a week or so. It had a tune up maybe 3000 miles ago. What should be done in the months building up to my voyage?

Standard maintenance and tune-up procedures appear to be in order. I'd purchase a Haynes or Chilton manual from your parts store and read their routine maintenance section.

Otherwise, search around.
