1992 Re-Build
I have read lots of great articles, and received help on this board for my new project truck. I have uploaded some initial pictures of the truck. And here is a little if anyone is interested.
Purpose: Haul whatever, do light to medium off-roading.
I saw this truck sitting in a yard for sale, for $1500.00. It had no rust, body in fair shape and the frame looked great. It was caked in mud and dirt (took 10 cans of cleaners (ALL of THEM) to be able to see the oil pan. I talked to the seller to find out the truck had some electrical issue which was killing the battery and the truck would not run, he just needed money to by a motorcycle. I offered the kid $1200, which he took and got it towed home. My friends were laughing, that I just bought a junker...
Well $100.00 and 2 days I had the engine running, and the truck driving up and down the road. The kid wired the brake assist system in backwards causing a short, plus it needed a coil, plugs and plug wires.
This is the bulk of it to start, I am in the process of changing the hubs, seats, and painting the truck, and putting in a spay in bed liner... updates to come, please check back.

I am in Charlotte. Yeah, the wheels are on the list to be replaced. I painted them black in the meantime. I am trying to figure out which size tires to go with 31x10.50 or 33x12.50. I don't want to do a 4" lift just to much crap to change and is very costly. I was thinking of 2.5" lift, as I hear all you need to do is move the bumber slightly.
