As far as gauges are concerned, I've always been very "into" them. They are always the first thing I add to any vehicle I ever own. Maybe it's because I'm a mechanic, I don't know. That was one thing that sucked about the '92-'96 F-150's, though, IMO, was there wasn't a lot of room to add them tastefully. But, I had to have them, so I went to see a buddy of mine that used to work at Hawaii Racing, and he let me play around with the different Auto Meter pillar mounting cups that they had (at the time, there were none available for 2 5/8" gauges for '92-'96 F-150's). I found two that I was able to make work (I can't remember what vehicle they were actually designed for), and I installed two gauges on the pillar. I left them black.
This is an old picture, but the best one I've got of the pillar mounted gauges...

I recently added a 5th gauge; a 2" fuel pressure gauge, by mounting it to the steering column, just above the ignition key release lever. One of these days I'll have to get a picture of it.
As a footnote, when I recently installed the Hurst shifter, I had to move the two gauges I had mounted below the dash over a few inches. Visibility is still good, but only when the ashtray is pushed in.

I really can't remember, but they may have just been a generic 2 5/8" mount. They do look like the angle is too high in the pictures, but they actually are perfect for me. I'm 6', so if you're shorter, they may be too high, but like I said, for me, they are perfect.
Guys,
I must admit seing all those great 92-96 models inspired me to create a gallery for my truck. Since I could never find a sub that would keep the rear bench seat flippable to cargo mode, I did some fabrication for the sub and amp that I think is unique. . I'll have to clean up the truck this weekend and
get more pics of the blower and gages and stuff. enjoy.
