Show off your pre-97 Ford trucks
Hi. First post. Crummy cell phone pic. Just picked up this 95 XLT 4x4 for less than $1500.00. It used to be owned by a painter, It's beat, has over 300,000miles on it, but it still runs great. It has had a new motor some time ago. It drives straight down the road with no shimmy or wobble even with the lift. Anyone know about how much lift is on it? Right now tires are 32x11.5x15. I recently sold my 2000 F150 4x4 that I purchased new, I thought is was time to own a truck!

Hey everyone, just joined up. I have a 1995 2wd F150 Regular Cab Short Bed 4.9 that I have lovingly dubbed the Radio Flyer due to its likeness to the little red wagon. It has a fresh red paint job, the interior is almost flawless, and i've added a few things here and there. Will post pictures soon, but don't I have to post a certain amount of times before I can post pictures?
Here's my truck, a 1993 F150 Extended Cab with the 5.0 V8. These are pretty much "just purchased" pictures, hence why the truck is still dirty. Still had it's original Motorcraft caps, which I foolishly tossed. Oh well, they still sell them. Had the TPS replaced, now I am chasing down other pesky issues like the power steering bogging the engine down, smog pump related faults, passenger side door release is broken on the inside (have to open from the outside) and much more.
The shell is staying on, I'm going to restore it. Truck will pretty much remain stock, the way I like my fords
I kinda like the stock ford radio, but it's not practical unless I find a way to have a computer onboard hooked to a FM transmitter.
The paint was originally the blue striped color, someone decided to two tone it for some reason. In the far far far future I may restore that back to the original blue color, will stay the color it is for the time being
I think the truck was primarily serviced at ford dealerships, wish I could trace the history more. Was sold at a ford dealership in maryland, don't have the name in front of me since the truck is being driven by someone else at this point. The radiator hoses, even heater core hoses (the battery) and more all have motorcraft proudly stamped on it, so someone serviced it well at the dealer!
