Hoop Steps

Hey fellow F-150 owners, I recently received a pair of Carr Hoop Steps II, and am wondering as to the placement of them. Could somebody post a pic or two as to where ya all put them. I have a regular cab 95 XLT. Thanks guys.

I don't have that same brand of steps, but it's the same design I believe. If you take your truck through trails with any terrain variations, stumps, logs, or rocks I would consider not mounting these on your truck. I busted my driver's side one in half on a stump at 1st gear + low range speeds. Also, if I were you I would mount them a couple inches farther back than mine were mounted...both I and some of my friends made small complaints that it would be easier to get in if they were closer to centered on the door than their current forward position.

Thanks for the reply, Skins. Great looking Flare Side, by the way. The instructions say to center the steps with the front edge of the seat at regular position, which looks where yours were put. If you put them any further back, you may trip on them on the way out. I just finished putting one on, the drivers side, and its about where yours are. Again, thanks for the pic.
