Coolant Leak - 92 302
I have a 92 4x2 302V8 w/ 135k on it. It is currently leaking coolant, but I am not sure where. I have replaced the water pump, as there was evidence of a leak from the weep hole, but it is still losing coolant. I have not driven it much in the last several weeks, and it has been sitting for about one week now. I did notice probably 1/2 cup of coolant on the ground under the truck. It is dripping from the rear main seal area, but I don't see how coolant could be coming from there.
I have searched around on the top half of the engine and don't see anything obvious. It does look like the area in the intake might be a bit "wet", but I can't be sure. The engine did have the intake gaskets replaced several years and a bunch of miles back. I am not sure what prompted this however.
Any areas to check, and how to rule out anything?
Thanks
Jim

Mine leaks on the upper radiator hose on the passanger side. I've noticed quite a bit of white/yellow streaking down the side of the plastic shrouding.
Do you see any steam off the engine while driving or Sweet buring smell?
You could always so the black light trick. Add some flouresent dye and get a black light out. That will help you pin point the leak.
