replacing CORNER Lamp bulb

what gives? why can i NOT seem to figure this out?

i have been told the cover "snaps" on, tried unsnapping it and it dont budge, so im not risking breaking it.
have been told you reach it uner the hood like the headlight. tried that and there is absoulutely no access.
have been told to go from uner the truck. tried that and i cant get my hand in there...

so how is it done? it the pass. side, with the battery. but even removing the batt dont look like it will help, body metal is in the way

You have to remove the headlight door (the big chrome surround that contains the blinkers), and some people find removing the battery worth the effort to access the 2 nuts indicated in red.

I replaced mine last month. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to turn and remove the pigtail from the back of the housing. I didn't have to take anything else off. I worked for me. Good luck.

i actually replaced my bulbs with LED ones last week... it was really easy... the corner one is set up like the headlight, it's just firther over towards the fender and down a little.... no replacing the entire corner peice can be a huge pain in the butt!!
