Vanity Mirror Removal
I've never tried it, and you should be VERY careful since that type of visor is rare & expensive, but the clear lenses should have slots to pry them off so the bulbs can be replaced. Maybe that would reveal another clip or a screw to release the mirror bezel. Typically, the bezel & mirror come off simply by prying, but like I said: be careful.
Why do you need to take it off?

I have disassembled several uints in the junkyard to learn how, but this mirror is mounted different. There are no visible screws even after the lenses are removed and I have tried to find some tabs on the edges to pry the mirror out from the visor but have found none.
These visors are from a Eddie Baurer Bronco and are dark tan. I am planning on installing them in my '94 F150 with a royal blue interior. I want to dye the cloth and paint the mirror frame the appropriate colors.
I am almost finished installing the overhead console from an Explorer and I would like to put the visors up. I am using the Explorer console because I want a switch in it to activate the future project power rear window.
