93-95 Ecm

Any of you folks in California? I need a computer from a 93-95 Mass Air Equipped 351/E4OD F150/Bronco.
I belive CA emission trucks were the only one's that were mass air
Thanks
EB

The 351 wasn't mass air until 95. It's a tough computer to find.

Call all your local parts stores - most of them sell reman EECs for $80-150, or they can send yours out. Are you trying to replace your original, or are you putting a truck together that will use that setup?

I have a 93 Lightning with an EPEC and PRO-M mass air but the EPEC is jacked up or something so I removed it. No stock ECM, which was non-mass air anyway. I want to keep mass air but finding a mass air ECM is proving rather difficult. I don't quite trust the auto stores to get a mass air ECM. I was hoping someone out west could pull one from a junk yard for me. I'd make it worth thier effort.

I'll make a call to my yard, but if you have a very narrow search of '95, MAF, OBD1, 351, E4OD. Odds arn't in yer favor.

"If" you do in fact have a PRO-M mass air conversion kit on your 93 Lightning, then it utilizes two computers. One for the engine managment (more than likely mounted under the hood in a silver/metal box on the drivers side) and the original computer to control the tranny functions.

If you have a FMS conversion, then it only uses one computer for both functions. (mounted in the stock location in the left kick panel behind the parking brake)

The thing to do is to get the catch code off the computer and go from there.
