Help Identifying this Model...
Hello, I'm new to these forums and thought you guys could help me Identify the model of my 1984 F150. I did a search and didn't find anything similar.
This truck had been sitting in my yard for a few years, and in my Uncle's yard before that. I looked at the title and it just says 1985 F150. I've looked all online and can't find another one quite like it.

The Bed of the truck has the old rail and hardwood setup and it's got and old-school tailgate with chains and everything. We are currently restoring the truck in a Lowrider style.
Thanks,
Little Mexico Car Club

Well, other than the disgusting whorehouse red upholstery, it's nothing but a plain old F150 stepside. It's either a loaded XL or a regular XLT. What do you want to know about it???
Howdy and welcome to the basement! Ya got yourself a regular cab shortbox step side. Popular in the '60s and '70s, tailed off demand wise in the '80-'86 body style, and hung around very rarely for '87. The stepside wasn't available '88-'91, but eventually made a comeback all sheetmetal in '92.
Personally I think 4x2 trucks go down, and 4x4 trucks go up, but the cool thing with these trucks is that you can do what you want anyway you want.
Are you keeping it 4x4? What size tires do you want? What engine?
Not quite exactly the same, but just for ideas, heres dad's 71.

Be happy to answer any questions ya'll have,
