I am needing to vent here. My weekend has been crap on the roads. People not being able to drive and whatnot. Yesterday while I was sitting in my 97 F150 listening to the radio I felt my truck move and when I looked some a** hole was cutting through spaces and he ended up hitting my truck and leaving some really long scratches in the left rear corner of the bed. Needless to say the bozo who hit me said that he'll pay for the damages. I have a feeling that he wont pay and I'll be srewed. I told him on the phone a couple hrs later that it might have to be repainted and the cost will probably be $1000 or so. So I am really PO'd about my truck getting hit. Thank you for letting me vent.

Next time, at least get mad in a forum about your truck. This one is for 96-down trucks, not 97-up.

 

You should have called the cops. If that guy decides not to pay, your kind of screwed.

 

The guy said he would call me back w/ some insc. info and he hasn't yet. I looked at the damage and I'll probably have the scratches buffed out. The only spot that took a hard hit was the fender flare where I'll touch up the paint or just repaint the whole flare.
