manafold replacement

i am needing to replace a manafold gasket and headder bolts on a 2000 f150 4x4 how big of a job is this anyone done it before just wondering if ishould take it in or not

Wrong forum. This is for pre-1997 models.

Try posting in the Exhaust forum above. From what I've seen of the newer trucks, simply getting to the headers/manifolds to pull them is going to be a nightmare and a half. The actual gasket replacement should be the easy part.

search on "exhaust stud" and you will get more than you want.

If you haven't done it before, and you have the money to pay someone good, take it in. if you let someone do it that shouldn't be, you are going to get a ruined head
