Good to know. I would love to put the pulleys in, but my idle is rough with the new cam, and my voltage drops at idle as it is now. I think I'll see if I can get my idle speed up a little bit.

I assume you probably already have a lot of extra power with your intake, heads, cam, and ect.

True, HP is up nicely, but I am liking any idea that might result in a few more ft/lbs of tq for better throttle response. I don't see this truck leaving 2 black lines off the start anytime soon, considering it has to turn 64 lb mud tires, but I plan to get close.

Yeah, with 33's I assume you wouldn't be leaving patches. Spinning the tires is all about the size of the tires/ the gear ratio/ your torque. I recently had a flat, and the few days I switched both of my rears back to 235/75's from my 31x10.50 I was able to lay two strips on dry pavement like nothing. With the 31's though and the u/d pullies, when I pull on to the main drag to go to work, sometimes if I hammer it I end up losing control and almost hitting the median. That is how much difference they have made. But also from my last truck without trac-lok, it's made a big difference in spinning tires, my old truck would spin the 31's no problems with the stock 5.0. The advice my auto shop teacher gave me my senior year in highschool has stuck with me though. It doesn't matter how far you can burnout for, you have reached your greatst torque and suspension combination when you tweak the frame.

edit: you happen to have a pic of that truck Muddytruck? I'm all about lifted trucks that can handle some mud. Also depending on where you live (where I am there's no emmisons testing) lose the cats and get true duals, it makes a HUGE differnce above the SIDO.

I know what you mean. I haven't ruled out picking up a set of 31's and throwing them on some cheap rims just for kickin around town, but the 33's look small under it as it is.

here's a few of my favorite pics from our last Paragon trip:
