Power Sliding Rear Window

Are there any recommendations as to which vendor would be good for me to purchase and power sliding rear window for my 1994 F150 Supercab? I ordered my truck without a sliding rear window because I could not open or shut it while driving. With the advent of the power units I am thinking about installing one now.

Hmmm, can't say I ever recall someone installing one around here. Did a search find anything?

I did a search and found some folks that installed one on a '97, but he got the window from a Ford dealer. The posts involved the wiring and switch for the window. There was one mention about a vendor called TruckinStyle. Their website appears to cater to the '97 & later trucks.

i have worked at 2 ford dealers and we did a few of the 97^ f150 and superdutys as a matter of fact we have a superduty one on a rack in the back of the shop....but i have never seen one on a pre 97 truck .... but i have wondered how hard it would be to make one....you could always try that they dont look like there is much to it

I swapped out the plain window for a manual slider in my old 1981 F100. It was easy, the window was held in by the rubber gasket only, no bolts/screws, etc.. I notice from my search that to remove the >97 windows that a bunch of screws were removed, did study it in detail.

Thought about putting one in several years ago when I first saw them. Just what to see if they were any good.

AFAIK, the only possible source would be a CR Laurence dealer, if you can find one & if they make an '80-96 power slider.

Found CF Laurence on the internet. They sell direct. Cost is $370 for a '94. I have asked for a set of instructions.
