Replacement shocks, which to choose?

Looking to replace the factory (I think) shocks on my truck. So I have looked at Rancho 5000, KYB, and Bilstein. Your thoughts?

I have stock suspension & 4x4.

I went with top of the line Bilstein's for the diesel, and did notice a big improvment over the crappy motorcraft "fx4 off road" red booted motorcrafts. Otherwise have had no complaints with the cheapo napa specials for the broncos.

I like my Bilsteins but I have a 2WD. The very high unsprung mass of the Ford front suspension needs a very good shock; I've used Bilsteins on several trucks with no complaints whatsoever.

I recently installed 4 new Bilsteins, and I love them.

I use Monroe Gas Magnum LTs on the rear and a combo of Gas Magnum Lt/ Monroe-Matic Plus on the front (quad shocks). No issues on the handling and it rides good

~$25ea w/LLT warranty, and the best ride I've found.

I have Rancho 5000 and they ride nice on the highway, but they're pretty rough on dirt roads/trails.
