I need some help here fellas, I was working on my engine and when done went to close the hood but it acted like something was in the way and now it's stuck half open and half latched. Nothing I can think of has gotten it open has anyone had this happen before and how did you get it open? 1995 f150.

 

You leaned over the latch and pushed it down like the hood would. Then you pushed the hood down over that.

I had enough clearance to unscrew the grill and then unbolt the latch from the core support to get it all apart.
