Question 92 f150 dual gas tank problems

i recently purchased a 92 f150 with dual tanks.when i put gas into the front tank it seems to slowly pump into the back tank.the back tank is newer but wont run off it because the previous owner said the line may be kinked when he installed it.i want both tanks to work as they should from the dash switch.both gages work and the back tank is now full from the front tank pumping into the back.maby i could put a valve on the line to stop the flow??? i dunno.
also how are the 300 6cyl engines for durability??

i bought one with 50k on it. 4000 miles later and the only problem ive had is a bad alternator. Ive heard this engine is good out to 300k! The only thing is i feel like i really have to step on the gas for it to really GO! not much power or pickup but other than that its a good realibe truck so far

You have a bad Fuel Delivery Module (Fuel Pump) in the rear tank.

Exclamation Same issue....URGENT

Just started happening on my 93 today. I noticed that both my tanks were 3/4 full as of last night. did some driving this morning and noticed that the front tank was now 1/2 full and the rear tank was completely full. Is it a bad front fuel pump or the check valves and fuel pressure regulator? How do i go about replacing items for this problem?

You should change the year in that URL to 1993 & read the ones that actually apply to your truck.
