'94 CD Player

I have a Ford AM/FM/CD unit in my '94 F150. It was not original to the truck but is a Ford unit from a '96 Ford product. The unit has worked well for over a year. Now after about 15 minutes of playing a CD the sound just stops, the radio portion works fine. Any ideas on what my be wrong?

You could search on E-bay for a replacement.

I am trying to keep my 94 looking original so if I can't fix the existing unit I'll buy another one off ebay.
