I had to replace the entire door lock mechanisim on my daughters 95 F150. Man, what a PITA that was! I wasn't able to reconnect the door lock solenoid because #1, I couldn't figure out how to remove the solenoid from the door and #2, there wasn't enough room to manipulate the mechanisim in order to hook it without removing.

It appears as it the solenoid is connected to a clip that you have to spread but I ran out of time. Any help in this area would be appreciated.

 

Parts guy says it pop-rivited to the door. Can anyone conform this?
