Question Cleaning Injectors

I have a 93 F150 with a 302. I can't figure what else to do so I am going to clean the injectors and replace the o rings. I am having trouble with the first start every day and was told that it could be a leak in the injectors. Is there anything else I need to do while I am at it? Also does the intake have to come off to get at the passenger side? Any and all tips will be appreciated.

Thanks

I don't know, but... if an injector is leaking, cleaning it won't help, it needs replaced. Never heard of a leaking injector though. Could be a super small leak somewhere in the fuel line though, allowing a little fuel to drain away from the injectors. Seems unlikely though. Sorry I'm not more help.

Good luck,
Hunter

You will probably have to remove the upper plenum to get to the passenger side[ i did on my 94 5.8]. Its not a big deal though. As far as cleaning the injectors I say if it ain't broke don't fix it. If it runs fine other that the leak down and subsequent hard start and if fuel mileage is OK leave them alone and fix the leak and be done with it. I am sure some one will disagree but thats my philosophy.
