Sticky 2nd Gear

I have a 95 f150 with a 5 speed manual trans. 3.9L engine with 144000 miles on it. When shifting from 1st to 2nd it catched a bit, doesnt make noise you can just feel it catch a bit, kinda makes me a bit uneasy and i shift very easily to where i cant feel it going into gear. This seems to be the only gear doing this and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas for me to look into. I didnt know if the transmission or the clutch would play a part in this. Also i have been noticing a drop or 2 of liquid on the carport, i have traced it back to the region of the power steering fluid resivoir. I have recently filled it up and dont know if maybe i put to much into it. I dont notcie the drip when its parked on the edge of the carport which is on an incline. The color of the liquid is light like fresh oil or fresh power steering fluid, I know ifs not oil b/c when i check the oil it is kinda dark and used. Its getting close to time for the oil change so i dont think its the culprit..If anyone has any suggestion or ideas on which i can try please let me know, thanks BJ

What I'd reccomend doing is changing out the transmission fluid. Put some fresh synthetic or regular Mercon ATF in there and it should help it out quite a bit. I have the same problem with mine.. on some mornings it doesnt like going into second at all. I'm planning on changing out my fluid this weekend.
As for your fluid drippage problems, I dont really know what to tell ya about that..
