I have to change my passenger side headlight. I have a service manual, and I've been reading posts on this site for about an hour now.

Why the heck can't I get the headlight out? The manual says push the tabs back and lift up while holding the assembly from the front.

The posts here indicate that the headlights are a cinch to pop out , but they just indicate that pulling up on the tabs is the only action required.

I pushed the tabs so hard that a washer popped off on the right side.

This thing won't budge. Is it possible I'm just not strong enough? Call me cheap, but I really don't want to pay a mechanic just to change a silly headlight.

Any suggestions?
