I have a 2wd 05 F150 that I love, now my 2000 4X4 is another story, I took her out for alittle spin the other day and a friend of mine got stuck (now he has a 05 V6 on 33's) which shouldnt have been mudding, I went to engage my 4wd and it went into 4hi but wouldnt go in 4 low (so I backed up anyways not thinking), well I backed up to his truck tied up and went to go pull and my truck would not even spin my tires in 4hi(tired playing with the automatic shift on the fly b.s in neu n rev, nothing), it was some pretty nasty muck, waited overnight and went back and got pulled out by a tractor, got onto hard surface and noticed that my truck was locked into LOW gear but ONLY in 2wd, took it home disconnected the batt. it unlocked back into 2wd normal(after some rolling it back n forth n unplugin n plugin in the 4wd vacum line), took it out again the other day to see if it was just cause i was in muck but it did the same thing but this time it went straight to 2wd LOW, no 4wd about it.

Now my question is: Has this ever happen to anyone? is it something stupid that I can fix in my garage? or is it something I should bring in and get fixed?
