what tranny fluid to use??

what tranny fluid would my 90 f-150 5 speed use?

You may want to investigate one of the synthetic ATF substitutes made specifically for manual trannies. Redline calls theirs MTL and I don't remember what Royal Purple calls theirs. They have low enough viscosity to keep all the needle bearings properly lubed but have somewhat better gear lube properties than true ATF. Since they contain no friction modifiers of any sort and cannot be used in automatics.
