What 5 speed transmission

What 5 speed transmission would have been in a '93?

I'm trying to put a 5speed in my Thunderbird to go along with its new 302...

The 93 F150 used the Mazda M5R2.
Strangely enough, so did some T'Birds but the ratios are somewhat different:

3.75 / 2.32 / 1.43 / 1.00 / 0.75 for the Bird

3.90 / 2.25 / 1.50 / 1.00 / 0.80 for the truck

Ditto. You didn't specify, but incase, the F2/350s would have the ZF-5 and only one from behind a 351 will bolt to your 302. It would not be a speedy shifter for a tbird.

Once I have a chance to see the tranny, will it just have a casting number with the model, or how can I tell?

The guy I'd be getting it from said it was out of a '93 truck. He didn't elaborate, but I guess that could also mean a Ranger....

Ranger = M5OD-R1 Light duty never came behind a 302
F-150 = M5OD-R2 Your best option
F-250+ = ZF-5 Super tough, but not a speed shifter at all.
