1990 trim question
1990 trim question
I was out looking at my truck today, and I just realized that I have no idea what the "Custom" trim level of my truck means. Where does it stand amongst the other trims of the 1990 F150s? I tried a search on here and came up with nothing..

Sorry to say, but it is the low man on the totem pole.
Custom has run from 67 till 93-94 as the entry level trim. Replaced by XL in 93-94ish.
XLT is the next level up and usually got you carpet, power accessorys and such. It came about in the 67-72 body style.
Next up was origionally the Ranger for top of the line untill early 80s when that name was put to the little truck.
The Lariat started in the late 70s as a super rare high trim level, then becoming the top after the end of the Ranger.
Eddie Bauer first appeared in 84 on the Bronco II, then the FSB in 85-86. I think the first year for the Fseries Eddie Bauer was 92.
Feel free to correct or add and I'll edit accordingly
