NO Start 1991
My "new" 1991 F-150 5.8L E4OD will NOT start without jumping the new
solenoid on the inner fender. As stupid as this seems I cannot get this truck
to start correctly. The neutral saftey switch is new also...and I do not see
any provisions for adjustments on it.
This is driving me absolutely NUTZ!!!

Howdy and welcome, so the truck starts fine jumpin the relay? Does the small trigger wire to the relay become hot when the key is turned to hot? Need a wiring diagram from the haynes manual and trace back to the key. The ignition switch could be bad itself as well. The haynes manual has a diagram to test the switch in all positions as well.
