94 F150 question
94 F150 question
I have a stock 94 f150 and i would like to get some aftermarket fog lights. I would like to hear your oppinion on how and were i should mount them and how hard the wiring would be thanks Mitch.
Wiring them correctly requires a little effort, but there is only one right way. Using a relay will ensure minimal voltage loss and make the lights as bright as possible.

For fog lights to be effective, they need to be as close to the road surface as is practical; driving beams on the other hand should be mounted high. I used a Smittybuilt Outland bar and mounted the drivers in the top mounting holes and the fogs underneath. The fogs are still a bit high but they're well protected by the bottom rung on the bar. Under the bumper works well from a lighting standpoint, but sooner or later you're going to lose a light to road damage if they're mounted that low.

It should look a lot like the one I posted from Susquehanna Motorsports (rallylights.) When it comes to aux. lighting, those guys are the pros. They supply rally equipment to most of the SCCA rally teams in the Mid-Atlantic and Great Lakes states
