94 F150 question

I have a stock 94 f150 and i would like to get some aftermarket fog lights. I would like to hear your oppinion on how and were i should mount them and how hard the wiring would be thanks Mitch.

Wiring them correctly requires a little effort, but there is only one right way. Using a relay will ensure minimal voltage loss and make the lights as bright as possible.

I'll make a diagram for you if you would like...

I put mine on a push bumper. Cheap one, but it came with the truck.

For fog lights to be effective, they need to be as close to the road surface as is practical; driving beams on the other hand should be mounted high. I used a Smittybuilt Outland bar and mounted the drivers in the top mounting holes and the fogs underneath. The fogs are still a bit high but they're well protected by the bottom rung on the bar. Under the bumper works well from a lighting standpoint, but sooner or later you're going to lose a light to road damage if they're mounted that low.

It should look a lot like the one I posted from Susquehanna Motorsports (rallylights.) When it comes to aux. lighting, those guys are the pros. They supply rally equipment to most of the SCCA rally teams in the Mid-Atlantic and Great Lakes states
