Question truck cutting out

hey, i have a 90 f-150 with a 4.9. on start up, it idols fine. but when you put it in gear and let out the clutch, it will fall on its face and try to die. it only does this when its cold. and it usually only does it 1 time. after it does it the first time, you can take off fine. almost like the fuel rails dont have enough pressure in them. also, it will sometimes cut out while driving down the road. hopefully someone on here can help me out.

thanks alot

I am having the same problem. I just got my truck and have slowing been working on it, it sat for 3 years in a field before I picked it up I also had an erratic idle issue when first started but fixed that by replacing my TB gasket and cleaning the IAC. I was hoping that fixed this problem too but it is still present.

If you figure out what it is don't forget to let us know Hopefully I can get some time this weekend to take a look around and figure out what it is myself.

What is your base timing set at? What is the fuel pressure KOEO and KOER?
