4 wheel drive problems

Ok so i decided to go muddin this weekend out behind Willard bay in utah, one of the best free places to go.. Well i got stuck at 3 in the morning with this chick and couldn't get out.

I noticed that some times both of my front wheels wouldn't spin, whats wrong..

Just to let ya know this mud it some of the worst clay ever plus it is real salty from the great slat lake so i had to hitch a ride and have my next door neighbor pull my sorry *** out at 5 in the morning with his powerstroke after all atempts failed...

Manual hubs? Auto hubs? Manual transfer case? Electric shift transfer case? Was the driveshaft spinning?

Sounds like you have an open front differential.
