Battery Keeps Dying

Hey guys, maybe you could help me out!
I have 1991 F-150 and the battery keeps dying on me! I figure its a bad ground, or something of that nature.
Anyone have trouble like this? Let me know.
Thanks
Travis

Could be a bad ground, but alos very well could be a bad alternator or justa bad battery. Have em tested at autozone.

Does the engine quit running or do you mean the battery is dead after sitting awhile? If the battery charges up OK try disconnecting it when you park. When you next need the truck connect it and see if it starts. If it starts and runs that would indicate a short somewhere.

Old school field test for the alternator would be to disconnect the battery with the engine running, if it dies, alternator and/or VR would be the culprit most likely. If not, have the battery tested.
