Okay, i was on my way to work today, and it is nice out so of course i had my windows down. My passenger window was about half way down. I get to work and go to roll them up and my passenger window wont go up. I could hear the motor spinning, but nothing. So i tried down, and it rolled down fine. Tried up again, and motor spins but it wont go up. What do you think this could be?? I am going to tear it apart once i get home, but thought i could pick up some parts/part if i had a good idea of what the problem is.
Any ideas???

 

Having the same issue on my 93. while at the ford house "getting another part" I ask the salesman about this and he said there's nylon dowles that keep the motor from burning up...he looked it up on the computer parts list and couldn't find them he told me that they used to sell a lot of those and He guessed it was a discontunined item. He also told me that there are a ton of aftermarket dowles to fix this....

I havent started mine yet... But keep me informed... This will be my next project...

Well i found an ebay link for the bushings, sound like what we need, it lists in the description my symptoms and everything.(replace the hxxp with http)
