Hey all,

I've got a 96 F-150 XL. I have the bench seat and a normal cab. There are very few options for actually storing stuff in the cab. There is a small "sunglasses" area built into the dash and thats about it. I'd like to store my Mag Light and a few other things in the cab with me. Does anyone have anything they've rigged up in the middle of the bench, or maybe an attachment to the back of the bench to slide some stuff back there and hang it off the back of the seat?

Just curious how everyone handled the problem..

Greetings... I had a hard wedge shaped box when I had a smaller regular cab pickup but haven't seem them in some time. Interestingly enough the "ad" below your post when I first viewed was JC Whitney. So I click and then searched and found a BEHIND-THE-SEAT CAB ORGANIZER. Not fancy but functional and you can't beat $10.00. Have you checked the local Wally World?

 

I would think that a Maglite would fit nicely under the seat.

 

I've looked at the headache racks before...look pretty nice and would definitely aid in stoarge. I never got one because I am tall and am worried it might obstruct visibility-- probably not, but it's hard to say. Also I'd be worried about stuff falling out.

But take a look at them, maybe you'll like the idea more than me.

 

Maglight mounts real nice on the left side of your seat on the floor along the door jam.
