Horn does not work
Horn does not work
Hi i got a 94 4.9 liter f150 and my horn does not work ' i was wondering if this was a fuse issue? ' if not what else can it be and were can i find it to fix the problem . Thanks
There is a device known as a clock spring in your steering wheel. It is the connection in your case for the air bag, horn, and CC (if you have that). Usually when one goes down, apparently your air bag connection did, the others usually follow.

oh, just FYI, if you decide to fix it, the part is about $90, plus the air bag diagnostic module may have blown an internal fuse which necessitates a new module. I don't remember the price offhand but it was well over $100. I have yet to fix mine.
I was mad because I thought the clockspring would fix my airbag too.
SO, before you tear into it, just be aware that the clockspring may not be the ONLY issue and even after replacing the clockspring your airbag may still not work. But your horn should, so you can make all those people get out of your way and (hopefully) not need your airbag!
beep beep, out of my way, jerk!
