headlight dimmer switch

how is the headlight/dimmer switch removed, i have a 95 with a few dead bulbs and cant fiure out how to remove this switch it seems bolted on...thanks for the help.

Are you referring to the **** or the actual switch?

the **** it has a slot on the bottom when pulled out is this part of the removal?

Yes. You need to stick an o-ring pick into the slot, and pull it towards you. This will release the tension spring that holds the **** onto the shaft.
