85 Blues

bought 85 i6 4X2 f150 from friend to help them out. took it to ford to get state insp. & emmisions done and they gave it back saying it would cost too much to get her road worthy. since i have pulled the leaking oil pan and resealed it, ripped out all the plugs and wiring in for a full tune up. ripped the rusted floor pans out and body painted them and cleaned the truck like no bodies business...(my stang is jealous im sure) now the truck needs a good catback exhaust since the temp i put on terminates underneath the bed...but guess im wondering if is worth all the trouble for a 85 f150 or should i seel and get a newer one im more familar with. (fuel injection and able to find parts for)

here she is after the cleaning

Hell no! That is a super clean truck!

Is that an overdrive or granny gear tranny?

thanks ..when i first got the truck it was covered in meldew among other crud. i do need to put a carpet or floor covering of some sort in as well as put the trim panels back in since i pulled them out to get full access.

the truck in garaged now in northern va just outside of dc. it is a granny gear trans with plenty of pull.

Nice! Thats the uber strong T18 manual then. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't the crappy SROD or TOD.

Your gonna want to order a free catalog from www.lmctruck.com Has everything you need to make it super sharp.
