Oxygen Sensor????

Hey guys well i finally broke down and bought a code scanner. I read the manual and figured out how to use it the right way, and when i did a KOER test Igot a code HEGO (HO2S) sensor voltage high/system rich. Then I read my Haynes manual and it speaks about the oxygen sensor but doest say much of anything about a heated oxygen sensor so what i was wondering is this the sensor that screws into the exhaust pipe right by the starter?

Thanks In Advance...

Daniel

what type of engine?

I can look it up for you if it's a 4.9.

Others would probably be the same but I can't swear to it.

Okay thanks... Well I tested it and it's gettin 12. some odd volts however cold or warm it's only sending 0.1 volts no matter if you just started it for the day or it idles for an hour. So I know its bad just wanted to make sure that was what I was lookin for....

Thanks

Daniel
