Oil pressure gauge on a 92 F150???

Well my new truck runs beautifully, but I noticed that when I start it up cold the oil pressure gauge reads just past the quarter wya mark. Even when I rev it it does not go up and then drop down. When it warms up it levels off right at about halfway on the guage. I was just wondering if this was normal readings, or if the sneding unit is old or what. The truck runs smooth as can be with no noises at all. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.

Well i wouldnt take much to heart what that guage says.. I've been told and it then was proven on my 93 that that guage isnt at all dependable or should the reading be taken to seriously....
