Question Did the '90 f150 have....

Could someone help me or point me in some direction to look, I'm having problems finding info on the web about the 90 extended cab.

Is the "extended cab" the "supercab" or are they two different animals?
Does the '90 extended cab have a full rear bench seat or are they the fold down 1/4 seats?
Did they offer both?
When did they start to offer full rear bench in extended cab models?
Are there aftermarket rear bench's?

TIA,
-cate

Hi well yea unless it says crew cab it'll be an extended cab as far as the seats i havent seen a full size ford with the jumper seats since the early 80's and im sure you coulda gotten a bench even then in the styles of 87-96 i havent seen one yet with the small seats. but if you were to happen to come across one somewhere which i seriously doubt you could go to a scrap yard or to any parts truck and get a bench seat and drop in...........

90 F150

Hello Catarina. I have a 1990 F150 Supercab and as far as I know, the supercab and extended cab are the same. Whenever I look for parts or anything, there is never an extended cab option. It's either regular cab or supercab. My truck has a bench seat in the rear. Hope this helps.

Yes ex and super cab are the same thing. I believe it had to do with the trim level as my grandfathers old Custom 91 ex cab had the two jump seats.

Now my curiosity has arose im wondring if the trucks such as the custom 91 would be fairly easy to convert if someone was to buy one and then wanna convert it over to a full bench in the rear?
